We have a small 400 acre mixed farm on Cotswold brash which has been in CSSS and HLS for 16 years. We have extensive margins and are recreating flower rich grassland; wildflowers cover about 70 acres on the farm, offering plenty of choice for pollinating insects. The most recent is an 15 acre arable field recently sown to a Cotswold mix, as part of a sustainable farming system that includes more pollinators.

Editor’s note: Mike’s beautiful farm is located over the county border in Oxfordshire – but pollinators don’t mind about that and it’s great to hear uplifting stories from anywhere in the country!
