We can’t always wait for the sun to come out, sometimes we have to take a walk in the rain.
And a walk in the rain can be really nice too. It was only a light drizzle when I was out today and I actually found it very refreshing. Even though the rain might dampen some plans, it has been a very dry spring and some rain is needed. The temperature was mild and the sun broke through a bit at some points. With a good rain jacket and some waterproof footwear, there’s not reason not to enjoy the outdoors even in wet weather.
I spotted a few flies, and even a bee and a butterfly although neither were polite enough to pose for me; the butterfly was clearly busy trying to find some shelter in a large patch of nettles.
