Buckinghamshire Archaeological Society

The Society was founded in 1847 and is one of the oldest in the country. It is the senior body in the County in the fields of Archaeology, Architecture, and Local History. It has an active specialist section for Active Archaeology, and is host to the Bucks Local History Network which runs a conference every year. The Society covers the whole of the old historic county of Buckinghamshire from Milton Keynes in the north to Eton in the south.
