Chilterns AONB – Landscape Partnership Development Trainee
A rare opportunity to get experience of a Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) Landscape Partnership Scheme at the Development Stage.
Chalk, Cherries and Chairs Landscape Partnership focuses on the iconic chalk landscape of the Buckinghamshire Chilterns. The Scheme is wide ranging, covering landscape, history, wildlife and community engagement. If you have some experience of one of these, but would like to broaden your experience into other areas to increase your employment options, this could be the role for you.
The primary purpose of the Trainee role is to assist with the development of a range of projects under the main themes of the scheme: Natural, Historical and Cultural Heritage. There is the opportunity to gain on-the-job skills and experience of a large, complex partnership project. Based primarily at the Chilterns Conservation Board there will also be a chance to spend time working with a range of partner organisations. There is scope to shape the role according to the interests and experience of the trainee, who will have a personal training plan and budget.
Closing date: 5 pm Monday 21st August 2017
